New Delhi: Letters purportedly from a Pakistan-based anti-India terror outfit United Jehad Council have revealed infiltration strategies and also exposed ties with the Pakistani army, media reports said Wednesday.According to reports, the letters, most of which were written in November last year, reveal the extent of the spread of the terror network operating out of Pakistan occupied Kashimir (PoK) and are addressed to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and a division of the Pakistan Army, among others.Five entry points or "launching camps" from where militants plan to infiltrate India - Hassan Forward Kahuta, Nakiyal, Khoi Ratta, Samahni and Dhali Bagh are also mentioned in the letters that have been acquired by NDTV.
The letters outline the worrying levels of cooperation shared between the terror outfit and Pakistani military, showing how the army has been asked to provide covering fire when a militant unit is surrounded by the Indian Army and there is exchange of fire.
Several Indian Army Bases, religious sites and top figures are on the radar of the Pakistan-based terror groups, the letters reportedly say, and also reveal tactics like not claiming responsibility for attacks in order to maintain a shadowy modus operandi.
