Five top BJP leaders from Delhi are worried that Bihari "outsiders" will beat them to the post of state Chief Minister next year if BJP wins the elections. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Vijay Goel, Vijender Gupta, Harsh Vardhan and Jagdish Mukhi are certain that their party is coming to power in Delhi in 2013, but not very certain that any one of them can become the CM since the Delhi vote is more Bihari today than local. The Bihari contenders for the job are Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Shahnawaz Hussain and Rameshwar Prasad Chaurasia. Prasad's name started doing the rounds after he was given a reception by leaders such as Vijay Jolly for taking over as the deputy leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha. Rameshwar Prasad, an MLA from Bihar, has charge of Delhi. His supporters are saying that since he knows Delhi well, he should get a chance. Even Poonam Azad, Kirti Azad's wife, is said to be in the race.
