Two injured in NATO container ambush

QUETTA: Unidentified men opened fire at a NATO container en route to Chaman from Karachi and set it on fire in the Dasht area of district Mastung on Friday.

According to the Balochistan Levies, two unidentified men on a motorbike opened fire on a NATO container in the Dasht area. Resultantly, the driver of the container, identified as Abdul Rehman and his helper, Muhammad Naeem, were critically injured. The attackers later set the container ablaze. The injured men were shifted to the Civil Hospital Quetta. A case was registered against the unidentified culprits and further investigation was underway.
