Union home ministry indicated that banned terror outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM), responsible for bombings in different parts of the country, could be behind Bangalore blast .
Preliminary investigation into the Banglaore blast has suggested that Improvised Explosive Device (IED) were used to carry out the explosion and the modus operandi was similar to earlier Hyderabad blasts triggered by the banned militant outfit Indian Mujahideen.
The Central security agencies are suspecting that the IM operatives Yasin Bhatkal, Waqas, Tabrez and Bada Sajid wanted for the 7/11 Mumbai and Hyderabad blasts could be behind the latest Bangalore terror strike as well.
"It is too early to point fingers at any group but needle of suspicion is pointing towards IM," the sources said.
