ANKARA: State-run television says Kurdish rebels have killed seven soldiers and wounded 15 others in a multi-pronged attack along the Iraqi border.TRT television said the rebels attacked military units in Daglica area in southeastern Hakkari province early Tuesday, prompting the military to launch a large-scale offensive in the area.
The rebel group, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, is fighting for autonomy in southeast Turkey.
