Sarpanch killed in Sopore: Police

Srinagar: Unknown gunmen killed a Sarpanch in Sopore on Friday, said police official.

According to police Habibullah Mir, Gooripora Bomie, Sopore was shot in house. He was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore in serious condition where he succumbed to his injuries.




“The body of deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard,” said police official.
