ISLAMABAD: During the hearing of Memo case, the Supreme Court on Tuesday issued instruction to Interior Secretary Khwaja Siddiq Akbar to provide fool-proof security to former ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani on his arrival to departure, DawnNews reported.
A larger bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resume the hearing over the memo case.
The Supreme Court expressed disappointment over the absence of the interior secretary.
The court also ordered interior secretary to appear in the court and inform about the steps that were taken for the return of the Hussain Haqqani.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till March 11.
