Terror bid foiled in Karachi, bomb defused outside mosque

KARACHI: Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused a bomb, found outside the mosque in Garden area of Karachi, Geo News reported.

Police said people informed them about the presence of suspicious bag on bicycle outside Gulzar Habib Mosque. On this police reached on the site.




Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) City, Ahmed Jamal said the bomb was planted in a bicycle and attached with time device.

The bomb disposal squad defused the bomb after evacuating the adjacent area of the mosque.

According to BDS it was 1kg weight bomb.
