Noida erupts over land again, three injured as villagers clash with cops

Noida: Three people have been injured in clashes that broke out between villagers and policemen today in Delhi's suburb Noida.

The clashes took place when authorities along with the police had gone to Noida Extension to demolish some unauthorised construction. The demolition was being carried out for the purpose of preserving the green belt of the area.

Farmers resorted to violence and even pelted stones at the police; a builder's office was also set on fire.The protesters were asking if their properties were illegal, then why were they registered.
