Female school owner gunned down in Karachi



KARACHI: Unknown miscreants opened fire at a local school owner that killed her on the spot in Karachi’s area of Orangi Town, reported Express News on Thursday.

The female gunned down was the owner of Al Qaim school.

Police officials will verify the name of the victim after the body is shifted to a nearby hospital for autopsy.




Earlier, two children were hurt on May 25 when unidentified men lobbed a ball packed with explosives at a school in Orangi Town and then sped off.

On March 30, Abdul Rasheed Khan, the principal of a private secondary school in Baldia’s Ittehad Town, was killed and several children, including his daughter, hurt when a bomb was thrown at the institution after which armed men stormed it and opened fire.
