NAB-wanted politician joins PPP


H ari Pur: Sardar Muhammad Mushtaq Khan of Haripur (NA-19), who is facing civil case in Peshawar High Court, has joined the ruling party Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) over condition of getting a clean chit.

On condition of anonymity a famous politician from the incumbent MNA’s constituency told Saach.TV on Wednesday that Mushtaq’s only intention to join PPP is to get a clean chit.

Source further said that Mushtaq is facing a civil case in Peshawar High Court’s Abbotabad bench as he sold his barren land to Worker Welfare Board for Rs.14 crore. “Even NAB has filed inquiry against Mushtaq and now he wants a clean chit from [Zardari] by joining his party.”

Sardar Muhammad Mushtaq Khan is PML (N)’s MNA from Hari Pur and he defeated Umer Ayub Khan and Raja Amir Zaman in the 2008 general election.
