Ajmal Pahari arrested again

KARACHI: After being released from the Karachi jail on Jan 25, 2013, Ajmal Pahari was arrested again on Wednesday over implication in new murder cases, DawnNews reported.




Pahari was originally booked in 18 cases, according to a petition submitted in court by the defence counsel Mushtaq Ahmed. The application further stated that the accused had been acquitted in 12 cases and was granted bail in the remaining cases.

Despite his acquittal, Ajmal Pahari was detained under the Section 3 (1) of the West Pakistan Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance 1960, since Sept 20, 2012.
