Maharashtra home minister R R Patil today defended the recent raids by police on rave parties in city and said that the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan was actively involved in supply of drugs at these parties.
The ISI is actively involved in supplying drugs in the 'Rave parties' and funds raised from such parties would be utilised for the terror activites,' he told the legislative council here. He was replying to a query raised by Neelam Gorhe (Shiv Sena), through a calling attention motion, asking why did police take media along with them when they busted any rave party.Defending the police action, Mr Patil said media today is very much alert and ubiquitous and reach any place well in time.
