The United Nations Human Rights Committee has raised concerns about the Maldives, with legal and judicial reform, allegations of torture and freedom of religion and belief all discussed during a recent meeting between the Committee and Maldivian Government.
The Committee met with a senior Government delegation in Geneva earlier this week and will make its recommendations next Thursday.
