KOHAT: At least seven children were wounded in a toy bomb blast in Darra Adam Khel, a small town near Kohat city in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) on Tuesday, officials said.

According to a local political agent, the children were playing with the toy bomb, which exploded resulting in injuries to seven of them. Local residents rushed to the scene and shifted the wounded kids to a Peshawar hospital. Medical officials in Peshawar told the media that the condition of two children was critical while the rest of them were out of danger. Political administration has started investigation. Police confirmed that the house where the toy bomb exploded was that of the cousin of a commander of the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Tariq Group.
