QUETTA: A collision between a truck and a passenger bus on Tuesday claimed eight lives on the National Highway near Mach Tehsil, DawnNews reported.
Two women were among the dead.
According to initial reports the accident occurred when brake failure caused the driver of the Sukkhur-bound-bus to lose control of the vehicle after departing from Quetta.

Thirteen people were also injured in the accident.
All injured were being shifted to Quetta.
Levies forces took custody of both the vehicles as investigations into the crash went underway.
