The security forces brought the bullet-riddled bodies of four young suspected militants to Levies Centre in Shahkas area in Jamrud tehsil.
Two of them were identified as Mohammad Asim, a resident of Charsadda, and Shah Faisal, who hailed from Darra Adamkhel.
The two bodies were handed over to their relatives after identification while the remaining two were still lying in the Levies Centre, security officials said.
They said that that the militants were killed during a clash in Zawa area of Bara. However, the claim could not be verified through independent sources.
Sources said that Mohammad Asim was serving in Khasadar Force in Mohmand Agency. He went missing few months ago, they added.
His relatives have already filed a case against his mysterious disappearance in Peshawar High Court. The court has fixed Thursday for hearing of the case.
The relatives to Shah Faisal refused to share any information with media about him.
In Hangu district near Kohat, unidentified terrorists blew up a government middle school for boys in the small hours of Tuesday.
Police said that the terrorists planted a four-kilogram heavy improvised explosive device at the building of the school and blew it up. The school was located in Karbogha Sharif area of Doaba tehsil of Hangu.
The Hangu police registered a case against unidentified terrorists and started investigations.
Meanwhile, two miners were killed and two injured in a blast inside a coalmine in Tora Atai area of lower Orakzai Agency.
The deceased were identified as Inaullah and Ameer Zaman, both residents of Shangla. Their bodies were sent to their ancestral villages.
The injured were identified as Usman and Wazirzada, who were admitted to Hangu Civil Hospital for treatment.
