PM Bhattarai said this to the president during their meeting at Shital Niwas Sunday night that was held immediately after the Cabinet meeting formally rejected the President’s call to the political parties to form a consensus government within seven days. During the meeting, PM Bhattarai apprised the President on the decision taken by the Cabinet and submitted the government’s letter of protest which described the president’s move as being “against the tenet and spirit of the Interim constitution”.
