The 92 MW Kulekhani Hydroelectricity Project – I and II have started generating electricity in full capacity from Wednesday.
The Kulekhani-I located at Jhosing has a capacity of 60 MW while Kulekhani-II at Bhainse can general a maximum of 35 MW. Both the power plants are located in Makwanpur district.

Consensus by next week, claims PM Bhattarai
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai Thursday said that the parties would arrive at a consensus on disputed issues in the second week of Mangsir (3rd week of November).
PM Bhattarai also said that the fresh Constituent Assembly elections would be declared immediately after the parties reached the deal. He did not elaborate.
