Peshawar: Rocket fired at NGO office

PESHAWAR: A rocket attack on the office of a non government organization left one person injured here in the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Police said a rocket, fired from an unknown location, fell on a building which houses the offices of an NGO located on Jamaluddin Afghani Road in University Town area.

Police suspect the primary target of the rocket attack was likely the American Club situated nearby.

The injured was under medical treatment in the Khyber Teaching Hospital, where he was rushed in the wake of the attack.
