It’s better to tolerate a colleague than an army general: Fazl

ISLAMABAD: Referring to the election of new prime minister, JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman on Thursday advised politicians to tolerate a colleague instead of suffering at the hands of a general.
Follow up:

Talking to the media after a meeting with PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Fazl warned political forces in the country that “judges are dominating now a days... It’s better to tolerate a colleague instead of suffering at the hands of a general”.

Justifying his move to file nomination papers for the office of prime minister, Fazl said he has presented himself as an “undisputed candidate to establish political harmony”. He said he believed that a unanimous candidate could steer the country out of the prevailing crisis. He said that he had filed papers to contest elections and not to withdraw them.
