Air India slashes fares;discounts upto 40% on domestic flights



National carrier Air India yesterday launched its special fares, offering a discount of up to 40 per cent on one-way regular fare on domestic flights. The new slashed rates include, 3,201 rupees for an economy class one-way ticket on the Delhi-Mumbai route; on the Delhi-Chennai sector, Air India’s ticket costs 3,701 rupees. A ticket on the Delhi-Kolkata route will cost 3,201 rupees, while on the Delhi-Hyderabad route, the ticket was priced at 3,201 rupees.

Earlier, private airlines like Jet Airways, Indigo, SpiceJet and GoAir had slashed their air fares.
